Professor Adisa studied at the University of Ilorin, culminating with a PhD degree (Rural Development). He has published in many scholarly journals within and outside Africa. He has served the University in several capacities, including Faculty Sub-Dean and Acting Head of the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development. He is a member of several learned societies within and outside Nigeria. He has also served as an External Examiner and Assessor for universities within and outside Nigeria.
