Tawakalitu Abiola, DOLAPO is a Dr. in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, with five years of University teaching, Research, and administrative experience. She has served as the academic secretary and coordinator of farm practical training in the Department. Her research areas are Rural empowerment, food security and livelihood sustainability, cultural, economic, and environmental vulnerabilities of rural women, coping strategies for improving pastoralist women’s livelihoods, access to extension services and time budgeting for rural women, and physical and socio-economic vulnerabilities such as pastoralists/farmer conflicts. She has publications to her credit in reputable outlet journals, edited conference Proceedings, and chapters in books. She has successfully supervised several undergraduate theses.
