Sidiqat Aderinoye-Abdulwahab (B. Agriculture, Ilorin; Dip. in Education, ABU, Zaria; M.Sc. Agricultural Extension, UDUS, Sokoto; Ph.D. Livelihoods (International Development), Reading, UK), is currently a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She conducts research, broadly, in agricultural extension and rural sociology, gendered livelihoods, and climate change impacts. More specifically, she has focused on livelihood vulnerabilities for rural communities, agricultural and environmental sustainability; climate change impacts on agriculture and farmers’ livelihoods; time budgeting and allocation for women and rural youth engagements with a vision to alleviate hunger, poverty, and livelihood insecurity as well as mitigate rural youth migration, gender discrimination and imbalance. She has published in various reputable journals.
