Biography

Gbolagade Benjamin ADESIJI is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin with 19 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

He has served as Head of the Department, Ag. Dean of the Faculty and current Director of Unilorin Sugar Research Institute. His research interests are in the areas of training and human development, climate change, gender issues, entrepreneurship, and youths and children in agriculture.

He has served as an External Examiner to numerous Universities and member of the National University Commission Accreditation Team to many universities in Nigeria. He is an astute teacher who has successfully supervised thirty Masters Projects and ten Ph.D. theses. He has to his credit ninety-two (92) published journal articles and chapters in edited books. He has equally won several research grants. Professor Adesiji is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
