Biography

Dr. Adeseye Oluwasikemi AWOYEMI is a lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development. She had her degrees: B.Agric, M.Sc Agric. and Ph.D in Agricultural Extension, University of Ilorin. She has been involved with teachings, research, and community service since she joined the University in 2017.

She has served as the Farm Practical Training (FPT) Coordinator, levels adviser, Departmental 500 level undergraduate coordinator, and staff adviser. Her main area of research has been in Agricultural Extension and Agricultural Entrepreneurship. She is both an independent researcher and an active collaborator in several research projects, with a growing list of twenty (20) publications in local, national, and international reputable journals. She has successfully supervised over 15 Undergraduate theses. She holds membership in several professional bodies such as the Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON), the African Association of Nigeria (RUSAN), and Nigerian Women in Agricultural Research and Development (NiWARD).
