Department of Agricultural Extension & Rural Development
The Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development consists of lecturers with expertise in Agricultural Extension, Rural Sociology, and Rural Development. They apply these skills to a wide range of existing problems among farmers and farming communities, while Undergraduate and Postgraduate students in the Department are taught courses in specialized fields of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development. The department offers the Agricultural extension and rural development aspect within the bachelor of Agriculture (B. Agric.) degree program.
